Can my dog/pet come?

  • Yes, subject to the owner’s ability to control them. Up to two leashed dogs can come to Davis Camp or Hualapai Mountain Park, with a pet fee of $5 day/per dog. All dogs must have Rabies immunizations current. More information is available.

What are the camping rates?

Can I make a reservation for a campsite?

  • No, all campsites are first come first serve.

Can I use my National or State Parks pass?

  • No, we are one of six Mohave County Parks. Mohave County does offer an Annual Pass for Mohave County residents. More information is available.

Why does it cost so much?

  • Mohave County Parks receives zero tax dollars so all six parks are funded by theses entry fees. Mohave County does offer an Annual Pass for Mohave County residents. More information is available.

How can we help? Do you have Volunteer opportunities?

  • Yes, we have a lot opportunities from office work to camp host to grounds keeping. More information is available.

Are there limitations on the number of people and vehicles at a campsite?

  • Campsite are defined as one vehicle, one tent and no more than 4 people.

Can I build a fire? Is firewood available in the park?

  • Fires are permitted on the beaches only. You will need to bring your own firewood.

What does the Summer Weekend Pass/Holiday or Special Event pass include?

  • It allows entry into the park. With purchase of pass you may use our facilities for dayuse, launching and overnight camping during designated timeframe.

Do you charge for children?

  • We typically do not charge for children under the age of 12.

Do I have to pay if I walk in?

  • Yes

Is entry free after the office is closed?

  • No, entry is not free, failure to pay park fees is a class 1 misdemeanor. Selfpay envelopes are provided at the entry station.

Can I reserve a Camping or Dayuse ramada?

  • No, availability is on a first come-first served basis.
  • Do you provide Wifi?
  • Wifi is provided by an outside vendor. Charges are payable directly to the vendor.

Is there a store in the park?

  • No, there is no store in the park. There are mobile food and ice-cream vendors who frequent the park during summer weekends.

Can I bring pets?

  • You may bring a maximum of 2 pets and an additional fee will be charge for each pet.
  • Can I use a metal detector?
  • Yes, we do ask that you fill in any holes and leave the area as you found it.

Can I fly a drone?

  • No

Where can I blow up my raft?

  • There is no air station available in the park. You will need to blow up your raft prior to entering the park.

How early can I come in?

  • You may come in at any time. Please be advised that dayuse hours are from sunrise to sunset. Entry into the park outside of that timeframe will incur an overnight camping fee.

When can I check in?

  • Check in for vacation homes is 3pm. Check in for RV sites is 12 noon

Can I check out late?

  • We offer no provisions for early check in or late check out. An additional night will need to be reserved in order to check in/out earlier or later than specified.

Can I leave my stuff to save a space?

  • Spaces are first come-first served, therefore we do not permit “saving” spaces. Park is not responsible for stuff left unattended.

Do you have sites with hook ups? How close are they to the water?

  • We have a large full hook up RV Park and a few partial hook up sites. The RV Park is located in the center of the park about a football field or two away from the river. Riverfront parking is available without hook ups on a first come-first served basis.

How many people/vehicles can I have at an RV site?

  • RV sites accommodate one RV and no more than two other vehicles parked alongside. Maximum occupancy is defined as 4 people.

Can I put up tents in an RV site?

  • We do not permit tents in any RV site.

Can I have visitors?

  • All guest entering the park must possess a valid permit. Any visitors will need to pay the appropriate entry fees.
  • What comes with the houses?
  • Our vacation homes are fully furnished and provided with a set of bed lines. We do not provide dishes, cutlery, pots/pans, or towels. There are no housekeeping services available during your stay.

Can I receive mail and package at the park?

  • No, we do not receive mail for park guests. Packages delivered by UPS or FEDEX may be delivered directly to your RV space. The US Postal service does not deliver to individual sites.

Can I stay in a 2 bedroom Vacation Home at Davis Camp with 5 people?

  • No, Davis Camp has strict occupancy rules for Vacation Homes. A two bedroom sleeps four and a three bedroom sleeps six people.

Is launching included in the Day Use Pass?

  • No, launching is not included in the Day Use Pass. It is included in the Summer Weekend Pass and the Annual Pass.

How do I rent a jet ski and what is the cost?

Do we need to bring our own bedding?

  • No, Vacation Homes come with bedding. For more information on what comes in the house.

Do the campsites have BBQs?

  • Not all of them have BBQs. All campsites are first come first serve.

Can you bring your own portable fire pit?

  • Yes, unless there is a fire ban. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is a 10’ clear zone between your fire pit and any possible fire hazards. Failure to comply with Park Rules may result in citation and eviction.

What activities do you have here?

  • There are a lot of activities like hiking, biking, jet skiing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, playground for the kids, birding and OHV riding, along with camping and staying in Vacation Homes or RVs.

Are you in a Fire Ban?

  • Please call (928) 681-5700 the morning before you arrive. Mohave County Park staff are authorized to implement Fire Bans as needed to prevent wildfire emergencies and will typically do so when weather factors create hazardous wildfire conditions.

How much are the cabins?

Can I stay in the cabins built by the Civilian Conservation Corps?

  • Yes, the CCC cabins are Cabins 1-4 and can be rented all year long. Book your cabin now.

Can I stay in a 4 person Cabin at Hualapai Mountain Park with 5 people?

  • No, Cabin occupancy is based on the number of available beds and is strictly enforced. Additional guests, above the occupancy limit will be required to camp outside of the cabin and obtain a camping permit per camping unit.

Can I make a reservation for a campsite?

Do the campsites have BBQs and fire rings?

  • Yes, most campsites have both fire rings and BBQs.

Can you bring your own portable fire pit?

  • Yes, unless there is a fire ban. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is a 10’ clear zone between your fire pit and any vegetation, including pine needles on the ground. Failure to comply with Park Rules may result in citation and eviction.

Can I have visitors?

  • All guest entering the park must possess a valid permit. Any visitors will need to pay the appropriate entry fees.

Do the shared restrooms have showers?

  • Yes, there is a separate show stall that your cabin key will open in the bathroom building.

Do we need to bring our own bedding?

  • Yes, you have to bring your own bedding for the Cabins. More information on what comes in the Cabin.

Is there (snow, rain, other) weather?

What activities do you have here?

  • There are a lot of activities like hiking, biking, playgrounds for the kids, disc golf, birding/wildlife viewing, and OHV riding, along with camping and staying in cabins or RVs.

Do you offer guided hikes?

  • Yes, please contact our office at 928-681-5700. Our Park Superintendent and Ranger love to take groups out for interpretive hikes. We can schedule your group in.
